On Fri., June 1 – Mon., June 4, I preached at the Westside Baptist Church in Pacifica, CA. I had a great time at this church. We went soul winning on Saturday and saw several people receive the Lord as their Saviour. On Sunday there were several visitors who attended the church.
On Wed., June 6 I preached at the Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church in Martinsburg, WV where Dr. Jeff Owens is the pastor. This was to kick off the “Stars and Stripes Youth Revival.” It was a blessing to be with my dear friend, Dr. Owens.
On Thurs., June 7 – Fri., June 8 I preached the “Stars and Stripes Youth Revival” at the Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church in Martinsburg, WV. Bro. Joshua Owens, Dr. Jeff Owens’ son did a great job in directing this conference. Ninety-seven of his teenagers attended the rally and nine surrendered to full time Christian service. Over twenty were saved while out soul winning.
On Sun., June 10 I preached at the Grace Independent Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, MS. While out soul winning I had the privilege of leading six people to the Lord. The altars were full and many decisions were made. A mother met with me about her daughter needing to be baptized. Right now our church is without a pastor. Please pray for God’s leadership and direction in this area.
On Sun., June 10 - Wed., June 13 Jonathan and Joshua conducted a Vacation Bible School at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbia, MS where Dr. Dave Baker is the pastor. There was a high night of 221 in attendance, 66 young people were saved in the V.B.S. and six people were saved while out soul winning. Praise the Lord for a great week! Jonathan and Joshua do a great job in conducting Vacation Bible Schools. This summer I booked them up to do several V.B.S.’s across America.
As the boys travel on their own the Lord is teaching them more and more that He is faithful to take care of their needs. We are very proud of them.
On Sun., June 17 - Fri., June 22 we conducted revival services at the Hope Baptist Tabernacle in Mocksville, NC where Bro. Chris Cantrell is the pastor. There were 147 visitors, seven people saved, and four people committed to be baptized.
On Sun., June 24 – Fri., June 29 Jonathan and Joshua preached and taught during the junior week at Camp Doris where Bro. Scott Welch is the director. The camp is held each year at the Turner’s Creek Baptist Church in Yadkinville, NC where Bro. Bobby Russell is the pastor. The boys taught the workers daily. Their subjects were soul winning, music, counseling, and serving. They also preached. There were seven saved during the week and 20 other decisions.
On Sun., June 24 I preached at the Memorial Independent Baptist Church in Landis, NC where Bro. Jeff Simpson is the pastor. The altars were full in the morning and evening meeting.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
1.Mrs. Wells is going to have to have surgery in the near future.
2.Our home church needs a pastor.
3.Traveling protection.
4.$800.00 for ministry camera.
5.$2000.00 for ministry video camera so we can start producing the college DVDs.
ANSWERED PRAYER:
1.The Lord sent two families to add to the I.W.W.E. staff.
2.Our truck is still running good at 270,000 + miles.
3.Was able to publish “Practical Helps for Personal Soul Winners.”
